Story on How Parrot Hatched
Paul Williamson decided to put aside the corporate world and tedious daily meetings to do something more beneficial with his skills and talents. As he filled out his stake in the "Great Resignation", he drew inspiration from his own three parrots, a BuffWing McCaw, African Grey and Green-Cheek Conure. Each with a huge unique personality and story, with dark beginnings from bad breeders to abuse. However, there were MANY wonderful people who helped those feather heads get into his loving home. "As a bird loving geek, I wanted to find a sustainable way to help with the significant abandonment and abuse issue facing parrots globally. The beginnings are the simple aspect, financial support to those who do their part. The more exciting part is leveraging the promise of the metaverse to do groundbreaking work to help lower the future numbers of abandoned parrots globally."
